The history of our hotel goes back
to 1951, when grandfather Carlo
began the construction of the Villa Eden, a small family-run boarding
house with 20 beds right in the centre of Corvara.
Renovation became necessary during the tourist boom in the sixties,
and the number of beds was tripled. Some years later the tea-room
was built. It was the first one in Corvara and is still a highly popular
meeting place for locals and visitors alike.
The nineties saw big changes: following the renovation of dining room,
the reading room and the rooms, the wellness
centre, a pleasant area for relaxing consisting of sauna, Turkish
bath, whirlpool and solarium, was built.
Finally, in the year 2002 the Chocolaterie
was opened, which offers a vast selection of hot chocolates and chocolate
candies.
Today the Villa Eden is run by the third
generation of the Bassot family.
