History

The history of Hotel Villa Eden dates back to 1951 when grandfather Carlo started with the construction of a small pension Villa Eden with 20 beds. Thanks to the boom of winter tourism in the 60ies, the number of rooms was tripled. A few years later the first pastry in Corvara was opened by the Bassot family. A popular meeting point for tourists and locals. The wellness centre, an oasis of relaxation, was opened in the 90ies, and the rooms, the dining room and the lobby of Hotel Villa Eden in Corvara were renovated. The last big change dates back to 2002, when the Chocolaterie, offering fine specialities of hot chocolate and chocolate pralines, was opened.
